As a kind of electronic products, electric screwdrivers are also developing rapidly. The latest generation of fully automatic electric screwdrivers is brushless electric screwdriver.
The first generation of the electric screwdriver is with carbon brushes inside. It installs a small carbon brush inside the electric screwdriver. However, there is a disadvantage, users have to replace these carbon brush frequently, and the generated toner will pollute the power screwdriver itself. So, the power tool also requires frequent maintenance and replacement of parts.
The brushless electric screwdriver is an upgrade to a brushed electric screwdriver and has the following advantages:
(1) Non-sparking: The most direct change is the use of brushless motor to remove the spark generated during brush operation, reducing the direct impact of spark on electronic equipment products.
(2) Low noise and smooth operation: The brushless motor has no brush, which greatly reduces the friction during operation, enhances the smooth operation and low noise.
(3) Long service life and low maintenance cost: no carbon brush motor has no carbon brush and friction directly with the motor rotor. The wear of the brushless motor is mainly on the bearing. From a mechanical point of view, the brushless electric batch is almost a kind of exemption. The motor is more durable, and only need to do a simple dust removal maintenance.
(4) No fragility: Compared with the carbon brush structure, the carbon brushless electric batch does not need to replace the carbon brush, which greatly saves the material cost and the manual replacement of the carbon brush time.
#2. Maintenance of brushless electric screwdriver
- Users have to maintain the brushless electric screwdriver on time. When the torque of the electric screwdriver is too small to meet the requirements. It should be stopped immediately and replaced with a larger torque electric screwdriver.
- When the electric screwdriver does not turn, the screwdriver head is easy to fall off, the speed of the screwdriver is not smooth, or the screwdriver will not stop automatically. It should be sent to the maintenance in time to ensure that it can continue to work next time;
- When pulling the electric screwdriver and the matching electric box plug, the force point should be the base of the plug, and should not pull the wire forced;
- Don’t drop the electric screwdriver;
- If the electric screwdriver has a large shaking during the working process, users must stop it to avoid deeper damage to the electric screwdriver;
- Press the start button. When the electric screwdriver is too small to rotate, it should be noted that this condition should not exceed ten seconds. Or, it will damage the electric motor inside the electric screwdriver.
- The use of brushless electric screwdriver must pay attention to the different sizes of screws to correspond to different torque range of electric screwdriver.
